(FORT WORTH) — Today in an unprecedented move, State Board of Education members David Bradley and Ken Mercer endorsed Eric Mahroum who is running against one of the most liberal Republicans on the SBOE, Pat Hardy.
David Bradley endorsed Eric saying, “Texas is at a crossroads and we have been stonewalled from moving conservative reforms forward due to the Republicans in our ranks who keep siding with Democrats. We need true Republicans if we are going to stand up for Texas children and Eric is just the man for the job.”
Ken Mercer endorsed Eric saying, “I am honored to join Jonathan Stickland, Michael Quinn Sullivan, Young Conservatives of Texas and Tea Party leaders across Tarrant County in supporting Eric Mahroum. We need conservative leaders on the State Board of Education.”
Mahroum commented on the endorsements saying, “I’m extremely humbled by the outpouring of support that continues to shower upon our campaign. Ken Mercer and David Bradley are some of the most dedicated conservative leaders in Texas and I’m proud to have their endorsements. Conservatives in District 11 are ready for a change and our campaign is working every day to get our message to the voters.”
Eric Mahroum is a proud Fort Worth native, who grew up and attended public school in Tarrant County. Eric has a bachelors of business administration from American Intercontinental University. More information regarding Eric can be found at www.ericforeducation.com
